Steve & Linda Goldfarb | Accidental Vintners
The year was 1997, and Steve & Linda were happily commuting to San Francisco every day to work at Steve’s law firm. As beautiful as the scenery was crossing the Bay Bridge, when the 20-minute commute from their home in Berkeley became a 2-hour commute in each direction, they began exploring other options – enter the Napa Valley. A home with six rows of Cabernet vines presented itself to them… they couldn’t resist. They traded in their yellow legal pads for crush pads and call themselves, “Accidental Vintners.” Twenty-seven years later, they love their 20-yard commute to the winery, the only traffic being their devoted rescue dog, Ollie; and they have happily not looked back.
