2021 Anomaly Vineyards
Cabernet Sauvignon

Vintage Notes:  Although low in yield, the 2021 growing season is already considered exceptional. With very little rain during the winter and spring, vines adapted early to the conditions and set smaller clusters with fewer berries. These small, tight clusters of cabernet made for wines of precision and purity.

The 2021 Anomaly Cabernet Sauvignon is journey for the senses, offering a rich tapestry that unfolds gracefully on the palate. The nose opens with an enticing blend of cocoa, mahogany, clove and clean forest. The first sip reveals a luscious plum character, that is both savory and heady. Subtle notes of sassafras, toasted wood and smooth, dark cherry add further layers of complexity. A touch of salinity adds a refreshing element. The tannins are gentle, smooth and approachable.

While enjoyable now, this wine has the structure to age gradually. It is a serious contender for those looking to cellar and witness its evolution over time.
